5 Steps to Create a Logo for a Client

    1. Define The Concept

Get acquainted with the brand and understand the message you need to convey. Consider the client’s preferences, likes, and dislikes, along with their vision for the brand and the desired perception they want people to have.

    2. Research

Conduct research on the concept and industry to identify current trends, taking into account the predefined style. Seek out references to inspire your creative process.

    3. Sketching

Sketch various ideas and drafts for proposals, aiming to maintain a consistent style while ensuring they don't appear identical. Emphasize shape over color in the initial drafts. The logo should be easily understandable in both its monochrome and color versions.

Try to make at least 3 different logo ideas.

    4. Revisions

Refine the selected design by making the necessary adjustments. Introduce a color scheme that complements the overall aesthetic, ensuring the final version not only meets but exceeds the client's expectations.

Keep in mind client’s feedback during the revision process to achieve a design that perfectly suits their needs and preferences.

    5. Handout

Handout all the logo versions: vertical, horizontal, color and monochrome.

I always recommend sending the client a folder with all the logos in their png, jpg and svg versions and a copy of the original file.
