has asked me to write this note.

With the recent performance issues in the daemon I have suggested to upgrade our version of Go to the latest one, in addition to upgrading our IPFS and libp2p related dependencies.

The latest version of Go introduces a new garbage collector by default. This garbage collector seem to have been optimized for lots of tiny allocations, which is exactly our case.

It also introduces some improvements in CGO, which we also use a lot with SQLite and llama.cpp integration. Supposedly all CGO calls should get around 30% faster now.

Please read the release notes for more details if you're interested.

Updating IPFS and libp2p in the past had often fixed our performance issues related to networking, so hopefully we can get some improvements this time as well.

Updating dependencies is something people usually do routinely. Hopefully we aren't going to need to write explanations every time we do it :).
